Our Process

  1. Pre-vacuum with HEPA-filtered commercial vacuums to remove dry soiling.
  2. Pre-spray with appropriate detergent (chemistry varies by fibre type and stain profile).
  3. Agitation with counter-rotating brushes or hand tools as required.
  4. Extraction with truck-mounted hot water at 240°F — removing soiling and excess moisture in one pass.
  5. Grooming to set pile direction for fastest drying.
  6. Optional protection — Scotchgard or equivalent fabric protectant.

What cleaning method do you use? +
Truck-mounted hot water extraction (HWE) is our primary method — the IICRC-recommended cleaning standard for most carpets and upholstery. We also offer low-moisture encapsulation for delicate fabrics and high-traffic commercial maintenance.
How long until I can walk on my carpet? +
Typically 4-6 hours for normal foot traffic, 24 hours for furniture placement. Our truck-mounted vacuum recovery removes most water at the time of cleaning, dramatically shortening drying time vs portable systems.
Do you clean wool, silk and oriental rugs? +
Wool and silk rugs require specialized cleaning — see our area rug cleaning page. We pick up these items for in-plant cleaning in our climate-controlled facility.
Can you remove pet stains and odours? +
Yes. We use enzyme-based pre-treatments that break down pet urine proteins and eliminate odour at the source. For severe contamination, sub-pad treatment may be required and is quoted onsite.
How often should commercial carpet be cleaned? +
High-traffic commercial spaces: monthly or quarterly maintenance cleaning. Mid-traffic: every 6 months. Low-traffic: annually. We offer commercial maintenance contracts with scheduled service.
